Aviculture is the practice of keeping and breeding birds and the culture that forms around it. Aviculture is generally focused on not only the raising and breeding of birds, but also on preserving avian habitat, and public awareness campaigns.

Today we added several articles about some avicultural aspects, written by Dan Cowell. Read more here.

Today, four species of typical Toucans (the Ramphastos genus) have been added to the website.

Toucans are part of the Piciformes order of birds, so we added this complete order in a list. In the future, more species from this order will be added too, including photographs of barbets, woodpeckers and jacamars, both wild and captive. So be sure to visit us soon again!
